Yahoo Mail spam checking is seriously broken

I don't need to give much evidence that the Yahoo Mail spam checking is seriously broken. All I need to do is point a note they make when you request assistance (admin assistance) with Yahoo Mail delivery problems. more

The fight to legalize online poker in the US

A nice article summarizing the current situation in the USA and noting the upcoming trials that will hopefully clarify the legal situation of online poker. Let's just hope nobody decides that poker is clearly illegal, since that would be worse than the current lack of clarity. replies

Google's gone crazy with ad filtering!

I created another ad for BigTPoker.com and I hit Google's keyword filter exclusion mechanism. This time I used the word speed. What a terrible word to use! Apparently that might mean I'm advertising drugs or drug paraphenalia. Go forbid it could be the word meaning to go fast! replies

How a consumer protection law may be defeated by a faux consumer watchdog

Interesting story about the consumer interest group against the C-51 Health bill in Canada. I can only hope the European politicians see this as a spur to pass stronger transparency laws regarding lobbies and special interest groups. replies

Riots and protests over fuel costs in Europe

High fuel prices certainly lead to increased government income, but one has to also think there isn't much the government can do to decrease the crude oil price. replies

The world's last uncontacted tribes

I got the shivers from this one. There are still tribes of people who have never been in contact with modern civilization at all. I had no idea that was even remotely possible. more
