You see, I editted my first reply and it worked fine. This also works in testing, and for me. So, what did you actually do to get the duplicate?! replies⇛

I clicked on edit to change my post, and it seems to display two now in the main list. replies⇛

You can try that first item. I would tend to think just making it consistent across the board would be better, especially if clicking on a post brings up any related discussion thread. I don't know what those links on the right side are (brainbrain, other... more⇛

After I've made a posting, if I click on the link my post points to, then click the browser's back button, brain is reposting. replies⇛

I see these changes as being reasonable:

• if there is no link the title links to the article, otherwise to the link. It makes sense since typically you wouldn't make and external link and write a lot
• reply links go to the main topic... more⇛

The people over at recaptcha have made it so easy to add form protection from robots I couldn't help but add it to the site. This way anonymous posts are still allowed, but we won't have to worry about spammers -- not that we've had any yet. replies⇛

Well, the main Brain listing is basically a free-for-all. In some cases a reply might be of more interest to someone than the main post, so why shouldn't it appear on the list. Eventually a scoring system will sort out the nonsense. more⇛

The usability doesn't feel right to me at the moment. Probably the title of each post should be a link to that post on a separate page, with the thread it's related to underneath. more⇛
